Alan Shumate

Shumate is reuniting with former employer Rynoh where he previously worked from 2016 to 2020 in sales and marketing. He credits his experience at Rynoh as a significant factor in shaping his knowledge and understanding of the mortgage industry from an agent’s perspective.  With his new role as an Account Executive at Rynoh, Shumate aims to leverage his diverse background to help attorneys and agents to navigate the inherent challenges faced today. He believes that by leveraging his vast industry experience in the real estate sector, he can be a valuable asset to our business partners and prosects.  “Regarding my role at Rynoh, I’ve worked in several verticals purposely, so that I might have a greater understanding of the real estate conveyance process as a whole,” Shumate explained.

“Real estate transactions are a complex process with multiple parties involved, speaking different vernaculars and my exposure to each segment allows me to be resource to our partners which can enable them to better serve their customers.”  Shumate learned some important career lessons in the Marine Corps. He learned discipline and accountability and how process development is paramount in achieving a goal. Shumate relies on a tried and true approach as “if I do A plus B I can expect C.” The challenge is in developing the approach once the goal has been ascertained.  Shumate’s background serves as a reminder that diverse perspectives can bring about innovative solutions and drive progress. With his experience in both the military and the real estate industry, he is well-equipped to understand the unique challenges faced by professionals in this field and provide valuable insights on how to overcome them.
