Joseph Brown

Joseph Brown is an honorably retired military professional and emerging cybersecurity leader with more than 20 years of distinguished service in high-pressure operational environments. During his military career, he deployed seven times in combat-related situations, led soldiers in demanding leadership roles, and served at duty stations across the United States and overseas, including Korea, Japan, Germany, Alaska, and Virginia. His background reflects a deep commitment to mission success, team leadership, and service to others

Following his military retirement, Joseph continued his public service as a Department of Defense Plans and Operations Specialist at Fort Greely, Alaska, where he supported emergency management planning, operational readiness, and coordination efforts that served service members, families, and the surrounding community. His work involved collaboration with major organizations such as FEMA, NORTHCOM, the Department of the Army, and the Department of Defense. He also served in roles such as Emergency Management Officer and Equal Opportunity Officer, further strengthening his experience in leadership, planning, and people-focused support. 

Joseph combines that real-world leadership experience with a strong academic background. He earned a master’s degree in Cybersecurity with a concentration in Digital Forensics, graduating with high honors. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security, giving him a well-rounded foundation in security, operations, law, and public service. Along with his education, he brings strong computer knowledge, operational planning experience, customer service skills, and the ability to build effective teams and manage high-visibility responsibilities. 

Now based in Virginia Beach, Joseph is focused on the next chapter of his professional journey. In his current role at Rynoh as a Customer Support Specialist, he brings together his military leadership, technical knowledge, and commitment to helping others. His goal is to continue growing as a trusted professional who can support clients, strengthen teams, and bring steady leadership to complex challenges.
