A name that represents the importance of daily account reconciliation and wildlife conservation.
RynohLive today announced that after popular vote, their mascot, a rhinoceros, has been officially named Kupa. Kupa, short for Kupatanisha, the Swahili word for “reconcile,” is a subtle nod to RynohLive’s involvement in rhino conservation and the software’s unique ability to offer daily three-way reconciliation; a best practice that RynohLive stresses as the No. 1 way to protect against fraud-related incidents.
Clients and fans pick their favorite from executive team’s top choices.
Votes took place from December 19th to December 29th on Rynoh’s website and social media pages where clients and fans were able to weigh in on their favorite names.
The top four names were selected by RynohLive’s executive team from a list of names submitted by RynohLive team members.
For over a decade, RynohLive has claimed the rhinoceros as its faithful mascot.
“The rhino is a perfect symbol for Rynoh. You have to be strong and have a thick skin in this business. And you can’t move backwards,” said Founder and CEO, Dick Reass.
Though the rhino is the perfect candidate to symbolize the protective characteristics of RynohLive’s software, the infamous mascot had remained nameless.
“There’s always a story behind a company and its mascot and we wanted our loyal clients and followers to be a part of it.” Reass said, “After all, every mascot needs a name.”
